World Industrial Design Day 2008 (ICSID)

Celebrated for the first time ever, this day was created to highlight the merits of the profession and its impact on the quality of daily life. This day seeks to actively engage professionals and design lovers to exploit their creativity, their innovation, their vision and their passion for the recognition of the role of industrial design and its designers in our society.

On this occasion, the Tupperware Corporation was hosting a special round table. This unique event brought together a panel of 15 select members of the industrial design community, including Patrick Messier as chairman of the ACID, as well as representatives of the local community including members of international and municipal governments. This event provided a creative opportunity to share information on the design industry, ICSID and its many activities at the international level.
